To get these results I fed Midjourney more than 2000 names, techniques, genres, and styles using the same prompts: by [artist name] --ar 9:16 or [technique/genre/style] --ar 9:16. Those results that showed distinct style went into this list.
This list is random. The categories it’s separated into are subjective and imperfect.
The styles presented here might not be similar to the techniques of the actual artists. To be honest, I don’t care. More importantly, these names and words alter Midjourney generations in a distinct and reproducible way. Which might give you the foundation upon which to build your own amazing prompts and get your own unique results.
Andrei Kovalev's MJ Styles Library is a curated collection of styles and techniques that, when added to prompts, affect Midjourney AI generations.
Each sample in the Library is hand-picked and checked with Midjourney to make sure the AI knows the name and returns a distinguishable result.
